Why I, A Black American, APPLAUD The Democrats

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” — Dr. King

There is something to be said about persistence. Persistence FAR OUTWEIGHS genius.

Genius, although a rarity and a gift to the world, is not as powerful as persistence.

This election has truly proven this!

Joe Biden, the Projected Vice President-Elect, is not quite as bombastic as Trump, not quite as charismatic as Trump, and not as oratorically gifted as Trump — but he seemed to be just as HUNGRY to change the nation for the better!

As the great motivational speaker Les Brown says, “You gotta be HUNGRY!”

Persistence…persistence is powerful!

And Character…Character Matters!

An argument can be made that genius is persistent. It is never giving up.

It is to keep pressing on and fighting a fight, NO MATTER WHAT!

A man who is a genius fighter may be able to get the upper hand in a fight, but most often, the man who is just hungrier (persistent) will win the fight.

And this election has proven this!

There has been no other political party that has had more of an impact on my race, the African American, than the Democrats.

Well, I guess we can say the Republicans as they did fight to Free the slaves (which was but ONE of many REASONS they fought the civil war)!

Democrats have had such a powerful impact on my people’s minds, feelings, and political sway for the past 60+ years!
